    Change of scenery

My cycling season is over it finished on Sunday morning when i handed back my trusty steed so I had a dilemma....do i sit round on the couch in England watching it rain and no doubt sinking too many pints, or do I hot tail it of to sunnier climes and sit poolside sinking too many pints. It was a super tough choice but i decided on that later.

I flew London to LA, had 5 hours sleep in LA before getting a plane to Orlando Florida via Denver. It was 17 hours flying and spending time in 4 time zones but I made it and it was worth the trip. I am here for a 1 and a half day conference related to my old job back in NZ and we are staying near the Disney complex in a luxury spa, more about the place later. But the weather is mint, its 94 degrees in their money, which is about 35 in our stuff.

I bumped into Pete Latham in the lounge at Heathrow, poor guy has an internal fracture of his back, thats prob not the medical term but thats what i think he said. He's in a big brace and can hardly get around so best wishes to pete for a speedy recovery. All things considered he still seemed pretty chirpy and upbeat so all the best with the rehab.

I get back to NZ mid next week and by then it should have been a good spell off the bike and ready to make some decisions about what to do next.

Anyway i gotta shoot cause the beers dont stay to cold poolside at this time of the day!
