    Home sailing

This blog is more for me than anyone in particular.

Im sitting in the LA Koru lounge after a busy day travelling, was up this morning at 6am and its 9pm now, tack on 3 hours for timezones and I'm a touch tired. Missed my connecting flight in Denver but it wasn't a major and got here about 5pm. Got another 90minutes of this adventure left before the big brid takes me home.

Its been a fun wee 9 moths away with some memories that will stay with me for along time, both positive and negative. I have discovered alot of things especially about how important friends and in particular family are. When shit starts going going down and your along way from home you learn alot about what is really important to you.

Im really looking forward to getting stuck back into working, dont know how long this will last but i have some good ideas that hopefully this time will get actioned. Its also an opportunity to take my cycling in a different direction, but that journey starts again on Wednesday hopefully with some interesting new goals.

Everyone today i have talked to has said how far it is for me to travel home....but i wouldn't have it any other way. New Zealand is great and part of that is that we are so far away so alot of bad stuff stays away, Im also looking forward not having to give way when turning right...well i think thats the rule back home, i know its the opposite of what it was in the UK.

hopefully this isn't too much drivel, back to the bar!
