Get across

I stumbles across this group of people who are trying to put a cycle lane and walk way across the harbour bridge. This is of interest to me for a couple of key reasons.

1. I ride the 7am Albany bunch most Sundays. With a cycle lane on the bridge it will mean I will no longer need to leave home at 4.30am just to get there...via the greenhithe bridge. This will probably give me an hours more sleep, which knowing me will be redundant anyway as I'll probably just stay up an hour later anyway.
2. How cool would it be in summer to get on the bike after work one night and going on an easy coffee spin over to Devonport, they have some mint cafes there so that has to be a bonus.
3. Guys like Crooksie and Smartie can man up and come ride the tankfarm worlds each Thursday night.

So if you support it for whatever reason go to their site here
and sign up. Even if it doesn't go ahead its still more awareness of bikes on the road and that has to keep us all safer out there.
