    Therapy on a bike

This mornings friday morning recovery coffee ride turned into a little bit more than I was expecting. It seemed that sick, tired, injured and fed up cyclists make for a rather negative mob, especially at the end of the week. So the ride turned into a therapy session where everyone seemed to vent their frustrations that have been building up during the week. I think we are all the healthier for it, even if noone seemed to care about my ailments.

One of the great things, or bad things, about cycling is that by its nature it is a very individualistic sport where we spend many a long hour training lonewolf or in small groups. These sessions are hot beds for great ideas on how to make better lives for ourselves or build up and channel hate and anger.

So if your full of a little hate or have a really good idea which leads to us all working less for more moolaa then come along and join us, you have to buy the coffees and brekkie though. We are easy to spot as well as we are all trying to sit on in the headwind section of the waterfront.
